About the nano tech Grand Award

The nano tech Executive Committee will evaluate all exhibits based on the criteria outlined below and determine the recipients of the “nano tech Grand Award,” presented to the most outstanding exhibitor, as well as the respective “Category Awards,” presented to excellent exhibitors.

Evaluation Criteria

1. Innovation and Originality

• Perspective and approach to technological development, including ideas, novelty, and originality
• Assessment of core and fundamental technologies, key technical components, related technologies, or technologies for practical application
• Presence of potential future impact or promising prospects for commercialization and business development

2. Product Value, Market Potential, and Economic Feasibility

• Alignment of product development plans with market and user needs
• Novelty or competitive advantage of the business model
• Sales performance (e.g., actual sales data); for products not yet commercialized, evaluation will be based on sales plans, including scheduled launch timing, volume, and pricing

3. Other Considerations

• Efforts made and considerations given to environmental sustainability and safety

Award Categories

1. nano tech Grand Award

Technologies and products that demonstrate outstanding innovation, practicality, and business potential, with strong prospects for contributing to society and industry.

【Category Awards (7 Awards)】

2. Material Award

Among the technologies and products eligible for the Grand Award, those that demonstrate exceptional excellence in nanomaterials technologies or products.

3. Analytics Award

Among the technologies and products eligible for the Grand Award, those that demonstrate outstanding measurement, evaluation, or analytical technologies or products.

4. Nano Process Award

Among the technologies and products eligible for the Grand Award, those that demonstrate exceptional excellence in nanofabrication or nano-processing technologies or products.

5. Academic-Industrial Alliance Award

Technologies developed through collaboration between academia and industry, where advanced technological development has been achieved and strong potential for commercialization is recognized.

6. Special Award

A special award presented to international exhibitors.

7. GX Award (Green Transformation Award)

Technologies that contribute significantly to Green Transformation (GX).

8. Deep Tech Award

Technologies and products with the potential to transform society and industry
